ASC offers a Material Control Stand for Cuppers with lubrication systems mounted on the press infeed, or for limited floor space applications.
The Material Control Stand features our proprietary auto-adjust infeed, which continually monitors the diminishing coil diameter.
The unit automatically extends for true “hands-off” control with no operator monitoring or manual adjustments required.

DESCRIPTION - MATERIAL CONTROL STAND
The Material Control Stand is a durable, self-contained, freestanding, pneumatically-controlled machine that bridges the gap between an Uncoiler and press while feeding aluminum sheet stock.
The Material Control Stand is composed of a welded steel V-rail track that mounts to the floor. A carriage frame rides on the tracks. Pivoting off the carriage is a two-piece table.
The main table section is elevated by two pneumatic cylinders and a telescoping section is extended and retracted using a single pneumatic cylinder.
One (1) laser sensor is supplied for coil diameter monitoring on the Uncoiler. The trim loop position sensing may be accomplished via trim laser, a photoeye light array, or multiple photoeyes with reflectors.
The exit catenary assembly features gold anodized aluminum rollers with polished ball bearings.
The Material Control Stand comes complete with high-quality pneumatic components, including a pressure regulator and gauge, directional control valves, and all necessary photo eyes and limit switches. Pneumatic counterbalance valves are also provided to ensure equipment safety even if a loss of the pneumatic air supply occurs.

MATERIAL CONTROL STAND
ASC has developed an innovative Extended Material Control Stand for manufacturing facilities looking to replace an existing high-maintenance Lubricator or Pinch Roll Feeder system. This Extended Material Control Stand allows for the removal of costly maintenance equipment and replaces it with a simple but elegant solution.
The Extended Material Control Stand consists of a pivoting roller bed table with an auto-extending infeed design which automatically tracks the coil diameter and provides consistent and dependable material feeding coil after coil.
ASC Extended Material Control Stands are hydraulically actuated, and come standard with high-quality hydraulic components. These units can be supplied with a self-contained stand-alone Hydraulic Power Unit, or they can utilize the existing Uncoiler Hydraulic Power Unit.
All ASC Material Control Stands can come supplied with steel V-rail tracks that are mounted to the floor, or with free-turning large diameter casters, depending on what is the best fit with the customer’s floor plan and layout.
All design and construction complies with NEC, NFPA, CE and OSHA standards. All rotating members and nip points are fully guarded to OSHA and CE standards. CE and OSHA approved warning and safety signs are provided.
